5th Dec, 09 (20 Mangsir, 066), Agni supported and participated in Awareness Rally  from Thecho to Chapagaon VDC, Lalitpur followed by cultural program and art exhibition to generate awareness of disability rights and create a sense of responsibilities by all stakeholders such as parents, community people & local authorities. The program was organized by Patan Community Based Rehabilitation Organization. The mail sponsor of program was Agni Incorporated Pvt. Ltd.
 

More than 400 participants from Supporting NGO,s, INGOs, Agni, Locals from Lalitpur VDC, Schools etc. participated in the Rally. Few commitments were received from Authorized Government Agencies, NGOs & other participating organizations to support such programs & disable children in future

Till the date due to the impact of the rally, parents & VDCRs have shown further interest to focus on disability status survey. The District Education Officer has assured to look in to the Teachers Quota Funds from the Government for the day Care Teachers. People from Chapagaon VDC have started to enquire about up coming Rotary – Patan CBR Physiotherapy Clinic Project & its services. This proved the awareness about the disability issue was sensitized further from this event
